We started with a Toyota Tacoma SR5 and turned it into a functional, good-looking rig with a carefully selected mix of Toyota Genuine Accessories, AAP, and aftermarket upgrades.

The foundation starts with the TRD Suspension Lift Kit, 18-inch Trailhunter wheels with bronze Toyota center caps, and Toyo Open Country A/T III tires. Bronze SR5 badge overlays and a bronze tailgate insert tie the look together, while a Trailhunter grille adds another great detail up front.

For added utility, we equipped the Tacoma with a DiamondBack HD bed cover, Yakima OverHaul HD rack, Yakima awning, RoadShower. Giving this SR5 a versatile setup for camping, travel, and everyday use.

Lighting is handled by a full lineup of Diode Dynamics upgrades, including the Trailhunter grille light bar kit, SS20 Pro yellow light bar, C1 lighting, Stage Series rock lights, and HitchMount reverse light. Toyota AUX switch kits keep the additional lighting cleanly integrated and easy to control.

The result is a Tacoma SR5 build that proves you don’t have to start with the highest trim level to build a capable rig. It’s clean, functional, and equipped with the right upgrades for both everyday driving and getting out on the trail.
